She was born and brought up in Bangalore, Karnataka, where she attained her school education at Balikamadom Girls Higher Secondary School. After 12th standard, she went on to follow her bachelor’s degree in English Literature, at Marthoma College, Thiruvalla, Kerala. She worked part-time as a model while studying at college.
